The Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity Railway, constructed by CCCC4 as one of the contractor, opened to passengers on 1st July.

The construction of Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity Railway commenced on 1st July 2008 and completed in 2 years. The total length of the main line is 300.329km. The designed speed is 350km/h. It is the first running express line of public traffic in Yangtze Delta Region. With the rail way, the traveling time between Shanghai and Nanjing will be shorten to about an hour.
